Could one possibly describe the experience of going to New Attitude 2007? It would take so much more than one paragraph ................
Well, it was fantabolous! (yes, i wrote that word on purpose...:-) ) First of all, the worship. Although singing a capella with 3000 other people is an experience in itself - I was never as much aware of those other people, or of myself, than I was aware of my sin, Christ's saving work on the cross, and God's GLORY!!!
The song, Surrender All, was one that really impacted me and convicted me as I sang it out to the Lord.

The messages were all sooo good. When I got home, I said to my mom - " ya, we can listen to messages by C.J. and Josh Harris on the Internet anytime - but being there and seeing the passion that those men have when speaking about the gospel is so poignant! It really challenged me to go to the foot of the cross daily, remembering that God crushed his Son for my sin.
The fellowship - well, what can I say? I pretty much have the coolest friends around. :-)Anyone for some poker?.....with UNO cards for chips? lol
But seriously, being with you guys and talking about what we were all learning about God, or what we learned from the messages, was a time of encouragement for me.
O- and I absolutely loved those sweet bean bag chair things in the neighbourhood!
Car ride home - one of my most memorable car rides yet! Bubble gum rox! And I will never consume aspartame again...
This post is dedicated to Papa John's. " the pizza that never comes.........." lol
Coming sooooooooon - pictures!! memories!! fun times!!
see ya'll
p.s. Grr. I have no idea what I did wrong - it won't format properly!!!!! sorry guys. Its kinda hard to read...............

Haha, the van clean-up took a while. there was gum wrapper and water bottles everywhere!
lol, and Emily, forget music, just go to casinos from now on, you'd be rich. lol, you need to give me poker lessons. I keep losing to my darn ipod.
Summarizes a lot of things I enjoyed about Na! You're right - its great to be there and see these men and their passion and laughter and interactions and tears. And time with all of you, my best friends, was one of the best parts of the conference!
Steven ... there is hope for you, buddy. Just don't play against Em in Vegas ... she could make her first down-payment on a house before turning 20 ...
lol - that is pretty much funny. Well guys, what can I say? - I'll try not to let it get to my head
:-)So who's up for a trip to Vegas?
But seriously - I never win poker!!!!
o and Steven----soo sorry about your van! Next time we should all come over and help clean up....it must have been disgusting...did you at least find some money??
it's ok, I did find a toonie, but gave it to Gabriel for his busride. We definately need to go on some sort of road trip, just for a road trip's sake.
'Road trip for a road trip's sake'- that's basically epic.
Lovely post, Em. Especially since you're the only one of us so far who has managed to actually do a post about how wonderful Na was. Now, we can all just point and be like "What she said.."
Look Em - I'm actually on the computer... and what's more, reading your blog for the first time! You pretty much summed up the feeling. Eloquent much.
And that trip home was the best...
(except for the possibly permanent sore muscles from sleeping in unnatural positions)is there anything more fun than road tripping? (yes, that was a rhetorical question).
Na 2007... that's the jam.
haha, av, that's perfect...
